Most wedding platforms are free because the couple is the inventory: the guest list becomes a mailing list, the budget becomes ad targeting, and the venue search becomes a bidding war you never see. We built Altessa on the opposite deal: you pay once for the software, and that’s the entire business. Here is exactly what that means.
We never sell your data.
Not to advertisers, not to vendors, not to “partners.” Your budget, your timeline, your plans: none of it is for sale, at launch or ever.
We never sell your guests’ data.
Your guest list is a list of people who trust you: names, addresses, emails, RSVPs. That trust doesn’t get packaged and resold. Guests are guests, not leads.
We never show you a vendor ad.
No vendor can pay to appear in Altessa, so nothing in the product is quietly steering you toward whoever paid the most. When Altessa suggests something, it is because it helps your plan.
You pay once. Never a subscription.
Pay once. Yours for the whole journey. When the price is the whole business model, there is nothing else to monetize, including you.
And because your data is yours:
- Take everything with you. Settings has a one-click Download my data: every table you've filled in as open files, your guests and budget as spreadsheets, and links to everything you uploaded. No email gate, no request form, no waiting period.
- Delete everything, yourself. Account deletion lives in Settings too, with no emailed codes and no phone call to a “retention specialist.” Your data is removed from the app right away, deleted from our systems within 30 days, and deleted from backups within 90 days.
- What we do store, we store to run the product. Your plan lives in our database so your tools work. Your planning data, your guests, and your vendor details are never shared with advertisers. We measure our own ads with limited signup and purchase events, and you can opt out. The full mechanics are in the legal version: our Privacy Policy. Same promises, longer sentences.
